Jay Youngblood is an equity partner. He manages the firm’s Tyler office. Jay has focused his legal career on the representation of Texas school districts in all areas of school law with an emphasis on business and construction law, employment matters, student discipline and counsel to the Board. He has substantial experience in commercial litigation, insurance defense litigation and real estate law. Jay manages the Tyler office of the firm.
Jay has over twenty years’ experience representing Texas public school districts in various matters including, personnel, administrative law, contract law, grievances, special education, discrimination, sexual harassment, student discipline, construction, school board policies, EEOC proceedings, OCR proceedings, real estate, and general legal advice. Jay has extensive trial experience in federal courts, state courts, and administrative hearings.
