Keaton is a dedicated attorney with a diverse background in civil litigation, government law, tax controversy, criminal law, and juvenile justice. Before joining Powell Law Group, he represented businesses and individuals in complex tax disputes, managing high-stakes cases involving over $10 million in controversy.
Prior to his work in tax law, Keaton served as an Assistant District Attorney for three counties in Oklahoma, where he advised government officials, litigated civil cases, and handled matters related to tax collections, employment law, and public records compliance. He also prosecuted juvenile delinquency cases, collaborating with law enforcement and social services to ensure just outcomes. Earlier in his career, Keaton worked with the Oklahoma Innocence Project, investigating wrongful convictions and assisting with post-conviction relief efforts. His experience in both prosecution and defense gives him a comprehensive and strategic perspective when advocating for his clients.
Outside of the office, Keaton enjoys watching sports, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and their dog, Russ.
