Dr. Jerod Patterson joined Powell Law Group as Senior Public Policy Advisor and Director of the firm’s Community and Government Relations division.
Jerod specializes in helping clients earn and steward public trust through healthy and effective communications. As a communicator and strategist, his work has earned 34 industry awards, including a prestigious Clio Award, and his political consulting practice earned Most Valuable Consulting Team honors by Capitol Inside for achieving the only perfect record in Texas during the 2016 election. Jerod previously served on the polling team for the
University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll and he is a frequent speaker for trade and policy associations on topics of politics and public affairs. He holds a M.Div. degree from Wake Forest University and a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
